OSOYOOS, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Located in the southern-most region of British Columbia's Okanagan Valley, Osoyoos is fast becoming a highly popular sunshine destination for Western travelers and savvy real estate investors.  Flanking Lake Osoyoos, the town extends the length of the valley 16km north, and stretches south to the USA border.

Visitors stateside either drive north from Washington or take Hwy. 97 south down from Alaska to reach Canada's lone desert oasis.

Osoyoos is an exciting recreational lakefront destination encompassing miles of shallow, sandy beaches and warm waters. Fishermen and hobbyist take note, five varieties of fish are worth an afternoon in a row boat including Large Mouth Bass, Trout, Kokanee, Perch and White Fish. With three boat launches and several marinas visitors can rent boats, skidoos, or paddle boats.

For the outdoors enthusiast, Osoyoos also boast many great hiking and biking opportunities. Bikes and motor-scooters are available for rent inviting visitors to spend the day riding the lakeshore and surrounding trails. Blessed with mild winters, only in Osoyoos, can one golfing one day, and enjoy extreme or leisurely skiing the next!
